Bliessteig - Etappe 5 (Kirkel - Schwarzenacker)

This route starts at Kirkel Castle, from where it leads through Kirkel Forest past rock formations to the ruins of Wörschweiler Abbey and finally to Homburg-Schwarzenacker

The fifth stage from Kirkel to Schwarzenacker is particularly idyllic and is rounded off with a truly panoramic view at the end.

The 12 km route leads through the Kirkel forest along enchanted paths past impressive rock formations. Along the way, there is always the opportunity to take a break and enjoy the magical and cozy atmosphere in the forest. The highlight is reached shortly before the destination: the monastery ruins in Wörschweiler. Cistercian monks (from 1131) once built the monastery on a hilltop 315 meters above the Bliestal valley.
