Gräfinthal Monastery is the starting point for the second stage. From here, the Bliessteig trail leads through gorges, forests and over mountain ranges up to the Hannock between Gersheim and Mandelbachtal.
The second stage of the Bliessteig trail is characterized by several ascents and descents through the hilly landscape. Passages through the forest alternate with meadow paths through the southern Bliesgau. The 13 km or so are easy to manage, mainly on natural paths.</p
