Bliessteig - Etappe 4 (Blieskastel - Kirkel)

Starting in the old town of the baroque town of Blieskastel, the trail leads over ridges and through forests to the castle ruins in Kirkel.

The fourth stage of the Bliessteig trail runs for around 10 km over several ascents and descents through predominantly wooded areas. There is a lot to discover here: the baroque town of Blieskastel with its numerous sights or the 5,000-year-old Gollenstein on a hill. The Kirkel Castle at the end of the stage is also not to be missed!

Experience the different landscapes in the biosphere on this stage. While the first stages were still characterized by wide views, rolling hills and open meadows, at the end of the fourth stage you hike through the red sandstone area, past the first rocky sections
