Lautzkircher NAhToUR

A beautiful combination of hiking trails near Lautzkirchen. The circular trail was created in 2020 by the Lautzkirchen Youth and Culture Association. The name of the tour is intended to emphasize its natural character. First along the Schwarzweiher ponds, then along the Schwarzweiher river on narrow paths through a botanically attractive wetland biotope. You then reach the Wolfsfelsen rock with its distinctive caves. This is followed by a loop around the Gänshorn.

The tour is a hiking route of approx. 9 km with an elevation gain of 180 meters. It is suitable for all ages and physical abilities. The hike takes you from Schwarzweihertal to the forest playground via Wolfsfelsen and back again. The Gänshorn loop can also be added as an option. There are plenty of places to take a break along the route, such as the refuge at Schwarzweiher and on the Gänshorn. The hike without the detour to the Gänshorn is approx. 6 km. The hammock dangling stations can also be found on the tour. The lightweight hammocks can be borrowed from the Tourist Info Blieskastel or Saarpfalz-Touristik.

The Lautzkirchen Youth and Culture Association has taken over the sponsorship of the hiking trail.
