Talaue erleben ohne Barrieren in Waiblingen

Comfortable, 5.2 km long circular route through the beautiful floodplain on the Rems with possible detours to the historic old town of Waiblingen (1 km) and to Beinstein Bridge (2.6 km), the detours are only partially barrier-free. The trail is classified according to the criteria of the nationwide "Travel for All" label and has the "Accessibility tested" award. ATTENTION:There are hardly any longitudinal gradients with a maximum of 6%.

The walking/hiking trail leads you comfortably through the Talaue landscape park, the recreational area close to the city and, if you wish, through the historic old town of Waiblingen (old town: partially barrier-free).

The Talaue offers an important recreational area for visitors and citizens of Waiblingen. The large and small alder islands, the Remsterrassen by the water, inviting resting places by the river or the lakeside square at Talauesee enchant walkers. The Kunstlichtung is a place in the middle of nature that invites you to linger. Silver willows form a clearing whose shape is modeled on the Stihl Waiblingen gallery. The historic old town stands for half-timbered houses and art on the banks of the Rems river.</p
