Langenburg Castle

The town of Gerabronn gave this tour its name. Gerabronn was an independent Württemberg Oberamt town from 1811 to 1938. Oberamt was the traditional name for an administrative unit in Württemberg.

Worth seeing:

• The village of Schainbach with the Jakobus church (visit by appointment, tel. 07955/3534)
• Jagsttal: particularly scenic sections from Mistlau to Kirchberg and towards Langenburg
• Medieval town of Kirchberg an der Jagst
• Staufian castle ruins of Leofels
• Langenburg spa town with the famous Renaissance castle and the German Car Museum

Round tour on little-used roads and well-maintained country lanes. Only a few sections on gravel and forest paths. Longer and steeper climbs and descents
