Round tour for sporty and ambitious hikers up to the Altenberg.
The short but challenging route initially leads from Sülzbach train station across fields almost as far as Wimmental. The trail then climbs past orchards and a farm café through vineyards up to the Rauhberg. The subsequent descent offers only a brief respite, as the route soon climbs back up to the Altenberg, but not all the way up. Or do you have the sporting ambition for a detour? The view makes up for some of the effort and the way back to the starting point also promises some relaxation.
