Start your tour from the parking lot at the Jägerhaus towards the vineyards. Right on the edge of the forest, you can enjoy an indescribable atmosphere of light and color, especially in the evening hours.On the "Wine Panorama Trail" section, the name says it all. With an impressive view of Heilbronn and the Neckar valley, you hike through the vineyards on the Wartberg. Once you reach the top, you can climb one level higher and enjoy the view of the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park from the Wartberg tower.

After educational steps between the vines, your hike leads back into the city forest. Via the Paradise Trail, you reach the Waldheide natural monument. Sheep now graze where rockets used to take off. Until late summer, the Waldheide is a colorful sea of flowers.

To complete the trifecta of natural impressions, the route leads from the high plateau into the river valley. Descend into the Köpfertal valley via a tranquil hollow path. Take a moment to soak up this special atmosphere at the source stone. Continue along the stream on winding paths back to the Jägerhaus.
