Enjoy a refreshing dip in Lake Breitenau in summer or marvel at the colorful foliage in autumn - no matter when, this day trip along the Württemberg Wine Trail is worth it at any time of year.The first part of the tour starts in Obersulm-Eschenau (S-Bahn connection) and is characterized by wine. It first heads into the vineyards at Eschenauer Paradies. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Weinsberg valley and Lake Breitenau, the next intermediate destination on the hike. At Ammertsberg, the Kirschenallee rest and barbecue area can be reached via a short detour.On the rest of the trail, you are rewarded with beautiful views of the Weinsberg valley and Breitenauer See lake. In Obersulm-Weiler, the school and toy museum invites you on a journey into the past before continuing around Lake Breitenau.

A wine tasting or a visit to a typical regional wine tavern round off the hike. Just above the lakeshore is the "Wengertshäusle am Breitenauer See" run by the winegrowers of the Weinsberg Valley. Open on Sundays and public holidays, it is a wonderful resting place in the middle of the vines with a great view. In addition to regional wines, small snacks are also on offer.</p
