After your descent into the Kessach valley, the small river accompanies you back to the starting point.

An excellent shortcut to this tour is the Jagst cultural hiking trail between Widdern and Jagsthausen, which takes you along a panoramic trail with beautiful views through vineyards and orchards, some of which have been abandoned.
