Winter hiking trail on the Kandel on 5-6 m wide rolled paths
Start at the Kandel parking lot. The trail leads to the Kandel pyramid, where you have a fantastic view of the Vosges mountains and the Rhine Valley. On a clear day, you can even see the Alps. The trail continues through the Kandel forest to the Gummenhütte, where you have a wonderful view of the southern Black Forest. From the Gummenhütte, you hike back to the starting point.
