Would you like to get to know both of Baden-Württemberg's wine cycle routes? Then use the connecting section from Schwaigern to Sulzfeld - a pure wine experience is guaranteed.
One federal state, two wine-growing regions, 900 km of cycling experience!
The 3* Baden Wine Cycle Route connects the Baden wine regions of Markgräflerland, Kaiserstuhl, Tuniberg, Breisgau, Ortenau, Badische Bergstraße and Kraichgau over a distance of around 460 kilometers.
The 4* quality cycle route Württemberger Weinradweg runs for almost 400 km from the lovely Tauber Valley, via Hohenlohe, HeilbronnerLand, Kraichgau-Stromberg, Marbach-Bottwartal, Remstal and the Stuttgart region to Rottenburg am Neckar. At one point, between Schwaigern and the wine-growing village of Sulzfeld, the two cycle routes come very close together. Over a distance of 20 km, the 2023 newly signposted connecting route leads from Schwaigern via Gemmingen and Eppingen to Sulzfeld and connects the two cycle routes.
