Through orchards and picturesque vineyards with sweeping views of Rommelshausen and the hinterland.

The starting point of the hiking trail is the S-Bahn Rommelshausen suburban train stop. From there the path leads past the community center award-winning community center through the church church gardens to the community garden with playground further through the village to the Jägerstraße junction. There the route branches off into the countryside direction Kernenturm and after approx. 200 m leads on narrow footpaths through orchards and small gardens to the "Villa rustica", the ruins of a Roman estate.

The route continues over meadows and footpaths past past an ancient pollarded willow (natural monument) through the wet meadows of the Esslinger biotope path. Over a narrow bridge you cross the the Beibach. From there you walk through the meadows with orchards and allotments to the edge of the forest and the Beiburg hiking parking lot. Winding paths lead through the beech forest steadily uphill to the Hädertörchen. From there, the route continues on steep forest paths up to the highest point of the Schurwald (513 m). There you will find the 27 m high Kernenturm tower, which offers an impressive view over the Schurwald down into the Rems and Neckar valleys as far as the Swabian Alb. At the foot of the tower there is a rest area with a kiosk. The hike then continues eastwards. Following a narrow path and crossing several forest paths, the trail continues downhill until you reach the viewpoint "in den Raubern" and enjoy a magnificent view over the Rems valley from the "Dichterblick". over the Rems valley.

From here, the trail continues west along the edge of the forest until you see the modern Wengerterhäuschen can be seen on the left. It was by Berlin architects as a permanent vantage point on the heights above the Rems valley. built by Berlin architects. The path passes the Harthau, another another resting place with a view. From there north, partly over meadow paths then over the Beibach and along the eastern edge of the eastern edge of the village via Masvingo Park back to the starting point in Rommelshausen.
