VAI-Tour-Nord

The VAI Tour North is part of the 50 km long VAI Tour, which leads through the whole of Vaihingen with all its districts.

Whether with sporting ambitions or just for pure pleasure - the almost 25 km long circular cycle tour is fun! Many a hill has to be climbed, but the effort is rewarded: at the top, there are always impressive views of the fascinating elegance of the vineyards or far into the gently rolling hills of the Stromberg.

Start at Vaihingen railroad station, from where the trail leads towards Kleinglattbach. The next stage destinations are Lake Ensingen and the magnificent vineyards of Horrheim. The Klosterberg is crossed and after the Seewald lakes, the Steinbachhof soon comes into view. The tour approaches Gündelbach, where the path leads along the vines of the Wachtkopf into the village. Via Fleckenwald and Wachtkopf, the route descends to the last remaining district of Ensingen.
