Between Hardthausen and Bad Friedrichshall, vineyards alternate with castles and palaces from past centuries.

In Oedheim, the Hirschfeldsee lake offers numerous leisure opportunities around the water. A stroll through the alleyways of the municipality or through the park of Bautzen Castle is a great change from cycling.In Neuenstadt am Kocher, beautiful half-timbered houses, old fountains and the imposing town wall invite you to take a stroll. The historic lime tree park by the castle is a charming picnic and rest area. In the summer months, the Neuenstadt open-air theater right next door promises "cultural enjoyment under the stars". For literature fans, a detour to the Mörike village of Cleversulzbach is worthwhile.

In Hardthausen the rest stop at the Schauweinberg between the districts of Kochersteinsfeld and Gochsen is particularly inviting. For a longer stay, we recommend the Lampoldshausen Space Center with its exhibits on rocket technology and the history of space travel. From Hardthausen, you can take the signposted cross-connection into the Jagsttal valley.
