This circular tour is ideal for anyone who wants to combine culture and cycling. It takes you past popular excursion destinations such as the Basilica

Birnau, the pile dwellings in Unteruhldigen, the car and tractor museum in Gebhardsweiler and the castle in Meersburg.

The route leads from Überlingen Landungsplatz in a westerly direction. Past Strandbad Ost and the marina, you reach the district of Nußdorf. Following the Lake Constance cycle path, you soon have a magnificent view of the Birnau monastery church, which rises up in the midst of vineyards. The cycle path remains on the shores of Lake Constance and leads past campsites and the Seefelder Aach nature reserve to Unteruhldingen. The famous pile dwellings here invite you on a journey back to the Stone Age. The trail then continues along the lake out of Unteruhldingen and parallel to the main road to Meersburg. In between, there are always great views of Lake Constance and the shores of Constance with the island of Mainau.

Past the car ferry, you reach Meersburg town center. In the lively hustle and bustle of the sometimes steep old town streets, it is advisable to push your bike a little to get to the upper town. The medieval castle or the New Castle in Meersburg invite you to visit them again. At the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, you pass under the B33 through an underpass onto the road towards Daisendorf.

This then leads on to Gebhardsweiler. Here, the car and tractor museum invites you on a journey through time through the world of cars and agricultural machinery.

The route then returns to Lake Constance via Oberuhldingen at the Birnau monastery church and follows the signs via Nußdorf to the starting point in Überlingen.
