Great views from small hills

From the open valley widening in which Kluftern lies, the path leads to the first hills of the hilly landscape formed by the last ice age with its characteristic, elongated drumlins. The constant alternation between the predominantly wooded hilltops, which are seemingly randomly distributed across the terrain, and the friendly hollows in between, creates an extraordinary variety of images. Despite the only slight differences in altitude - there are only 50 meters between the lowest and highest points of the hike - you have enchanting distant views to the west of the Linzgau, the lake and the Swiss Alps.</p
