Neckarsteig: Etappe Hirschhorn - Eberbach

The 4th stage of the Neckarsteig runs for around 12.5 km from Hirschhorn to Eberbach.

The Hoppe refuge with a view of the Neckar valley invites you to take a break.

You can look down on Hirschhorn through a path in the forest. The Stone Table was built in 1797 as a resting place for hunting parties. At that time, the view of Hirschhorn Castle was still unobstructed.

On the Neckarsteig trail, you walk around the Tannenkopf mountain. The Gretengrund, a stream running parallel to the Gammelsbach valley, offers plenty of shade on hot summer days.

The "Waldklassenzimmer" initiative has set up shop there and serves as a "base" for kindergartens, schools and clubs for forest experience and forest education.

A beautifully situated path above the railroad line offers views of the Neckar and the beautiful town of Eberbach, directly on the Neckar.

In Eberbach, you have the opportunity to watch the Neckar shipping or the excursion boats or admire the impressive bronze sculptures in the park running parallel to the riverside road. The entire stage is characterized by old trees.</p
