Heuberg-Rundweg in Balingen

A beautiful hike over the small Heuberg, which the people of Balingen like to call their "local mountain", with an impressive panoramic view of the Balingen mountains.

The town center of Balingen offers a wonderful flair on the Eyach river with the historic Zollern castle with water tower and museum for scales and weights. The Gothic town church is also located on the market square with its fountain. If you are out and about on Sunday morning, you can hear the trumpeters playing from the church tower at around 8.00 am! And if you plan your tour on a Saturday, you can also combine it with a visit to the market with regional products on the market square. But even during the week, the many small street cafés and restaurants as well as the beautiful stores in Friedrichstraße and its cross and side streets in Balingen invite you to linger and stroll.But there is also plenty on offer on the Heuberg plateau with a playground, a barbecue area and two slate lakes.
