The tour leads past the Ostrach gravel pit, where three beautiful blue quarry ponds have been created.

The tour starts behind the town hall, at the Narrenbrunnen fountain to be precise, and first leads uphill to the Buchbühl monument. This is a memorial to the soldiers who fell in the Battle of Ostrach in 1799. From here you have a wonderful view over Ostrach. The route continues along the main road and past the three quarry ponds of the Müller gravel works. On the way back towards the town hall, you will pass the Amtshaus Ostrach, which is home to three museums: the local history museum, the folklore museum and the boundary stone museum. There are various things to learn here about "the robbers of yesteryear" and "past rural life with a focus on 19th century folklore".
