E-Bike Tour: Von Wald/Hohenzollern nach Überlingen und zurück

This beautiful e-bike tour through the Lake Constance region takes you through the area around Lake Constance to the lake, along the lake and back again. The route is characterized by a unique landscape and views of the "Swabian Sea" - Lake Constance.

Start the tour in the monastery community of Wald/Hohenzollern. The Wald monastery, with its idyllic adjoining pond and the baroque St. Bernhard monastery church, will impress you right from the start. The route continues on leisurely paths to Steckeln, via Sentenhart to Selgetsweiler - from here the easy descent down to the lake begins. Cycling down the hill, you will immediately reach Schloss Hohenfels, situated on a small hill and surrounded by forests. After passing through the villages of Neumühle and Bonndorf, the picturesque Lake Constance landscape begins to show its best side. We recommend taking a break on the serpentine road down to Ludwigshafen, as this offers a unique panoramic view of the town and the lake. Once you reach the bottom of the small town, the probably most beautiful part of the route begins for lake lovers and water enthusiasts. You cycle directly along the lake through Sipplingen to Überlingen. Families traveling with children have the opportunity to stop in Ludwigshafen at a lovely children's playground right on the route. Please note that the bike must be pushed in the harbor area for safety reasons. The rest of the route takes you directly to Überlingen. The beautiful town on Lake Constance is perfect for a short breather. Refreshed, you can now continue. Shortly after Überlingen in the direction of Owingen, the Haustierhof Reutemühle is another highlight along the way. Now it's time to pedal hard, as the route climbs again after Owingen. Once you reach the top, you can definitely take a short break and turn around again, as there is also a wonderful view of Lake Constance in the distance and the surrounding countryside from here. From here, the route continues on more gentle roads via Herdwangen to Ebratsweiler and via the villages of Ruhestetten and Rothenlachen past meadows and forests back to Wald.
