Description by the author

Easy circular cycle tour, past the boundary stone museum, to the Bannwald tower and back to Ostrach.

The tour starts at the Narrenbrunnen fountain in Ostrach. An idyllic cycle path, which is marked O7, takes you via Kalkreute to Burgweiler. Watch out when crossing at the train station, there is occasional train traffic here! In Burgweiler, head past the town hall towards the playground at the former castle. We recommend a visit to the nearby boundary stone museum to marvel at the true-to-scale borders of the former Kingdom of Württemberg, Grand Duchy of Baden and Principality of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen in the municipality of Ostrach. Continue along the O7 through the Bannwald forest of the Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried nature reserve to the Bannwald tower, which is definitely worth a "lookout". You then follow the route along the Ostrach river until you finally reach the Narrenbrunnen fountain again.
