Holzape-Rundweg (Eco Pfad)

Due to bridge damage, the Holzape circular trail is currently not accessible. Please switch to another nature park circular hiking trail. We will fix the problem as soon as possible.
This beautiful and easily accessible circular hiking trail "Holzape-Rundweg" (marker 1) always leads along the natural course of the Holzape stream. Large parts of the trail are in a nature reserve and flora and fauna habitat. The Holzape with its natural stream is particularly worthy of protection as it provides a habitat for numerous animal and plant species, e.g. the kingfisher or the dipper. Therefore, please do not leave the paved and marked paths.
Enjoy the tranquillity of nature on the circular route and let your mind wander. You should make a stopover in Wülmersen and don't miss the historic walls of the Wülmersen moated castle with its country museum, café, group accommodation and event rooms. The café is open every Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm from April to the end of October. The ostrich farm with farm store and snack station and the Dworak family's trout farm, also with farm store, are also impressive and well worth a visit.
