Sure-footedness is required on the Klippensteig, which winds its way over uneven steps and stones up to the slopes above the Weser. From the Weser Skywalk, the view of the Weser, Bad Karlshafen and the Reinhardswald Nature Park opposite is rewarding. Incidentally, you are already in the Solling-Vogler Nature Park, which is part of the Weser Uplands. The rest of the route takes you through the forest. On the way, you will pass the former excavation site of Schmeessen. Another view awaits you further along the trail, simply pure hiking pleasure!
