Riesling Schleife Schlösserblick

From the Brentano barn, the path continues through the outskirts of Winkel until you reach a small valley between the green vineyards. Hidden away, the Schwemmbach meanders between the rows of vines to the Greiffenberg. The viewpoint on the castle's local hill lives up to the name of the Riesling Loop: it offers a magnificent view of the Riesling Sea, the Rhine and the castles of Vollrads and Johannisberg. The trail follows the nature trail through the Vollrads forest and circles the ensemble of buildings. The Johannisberg with its enthroned castle accompanies the scenery until the route leads back down to the starting point through the Winkeler Hasensprung vineyard.
