The Wintersberg Trail starts at the Wegscheide children's village and leads to Bad Orb over a length of approx. 4.2 km with 163 vertical meters on natural paths with few built-in technical elements. The gradient is moderate up to the "Tränenbrückchen" and is also suitable for inexperienced mountain bikers. From the "Tränenbrückchen", the route continues along the Winterberg to Bad Orb. This section of the route changes terrain, so it is only recommended for experienced mountain bikers. Due to the topographical location, there is a touch of Alpine feeling on this route.
