From the Katzenbeißer steep slopes to the Hessigheim rock gardens past Liebenstein Castle.

From Lauffen towards Neckarwestheim, the first section of this stage leads directly along the Neckar with a view of the water. In Lauffen a.N., the Lamparter Park on the Neckar invites you to linger. During the warmer months, wine is served in the park from Friday to Sunday.

The Roman estate and the Krappenfelsen rock offer beautiful viewpoints. Before heading one level higher towards Neckarwestheim at Herrlesberg.

Liebenstein Castle is also recommended as a stopover. The castle grounds and keep are open to the public. And the Renaissance chapel in the castle courtyard is a real eye-catcher.

Another highlight of this stage: the Hessigheim rock gardens and the Neckar loop there. Settle down and enjoy the view.
