Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela - part of the Way of St. James also passes through Meßkirch.
Leibertingen is located on the Hohenzollern route of the Way of St. James. Coming from Hechingen, the route runs via Gammertingen to Sigmaringen and is marked with the symbol of the scallop shell. The rest of the route leads to Meßkirch, where it meets the Beuron Way of St. James and then follows the Hegau Way of St. James (western route) and the Linzgau Way of St. James (eastern route) to Constance.
