Description by the author

A magnificent landscape and a place steeped in history await us on the hike through the Murg Valley to the ruins of Wieladingen.

Our hike from Wickartsmühle into the Murg Valley to the ruins of Wieladingen lets us immerse ourselves in the story of Hans mit de Giige. According to legend, the lord of the castle, Hans von Wieladingen, used to play the violin. Disguised as a juggler, he and his daughter, who danced to the music, distracted passing merchants to such an extent that his men had an easy time robbing them. The visit to the castle ruins is certainly the highlight of this tour, along with the rushing river water.
