Über den Bietzerberg

This road bike tour leads over the Bietzerberg and the Saargau around the Viezstadt Merzig. It starts at the Merzig harbor. From here, the route leads through the town up to the beautiful Bietzerberg. Through the villages of Harlingen, Bietzen, Menningen and Saarfels, the route leads back down to the Saargarten in Beckingen. The barrage in Rehlingen is passed before the route continues along the Saar up to the Saargau. Through Gerlfangen, the route offers beautiful views towards the French border. The route leads along the Stones on the Border sculpture symposium via Wellingen and Fittten back to the starting point in Merzig.
