Der Schluchtensteig mit Kindern - Durch die Wutachflühen

At Buchberg you have a wonderful panorama. You pass the Wutachflühen on narrow paths, past towering rock towers.

Children are looking for variety and adventure when hiking. You'll find both on the Schluchtensteig trail. A hike through the Wutachflühen can be perfectly combined with a steam train ride on the Sauschwänzlebahn. And as children prefer to hike downhill rather than uphill, we recommend starting the route from Blumberg. Shortly before the end of the hike, it is worth taking a short detour to the museum mill in the hamlet. The end point of the hike over the Buchberg and through the Wutachflühen is Lausheim-Blumegg railroad station. From there, the Sauschwänzlebahn takes tired hikers back to the starting point at Zollhaus station in Blumberg. The distance from Zollhaus station to Lausheim-Blumegg station is approximately 11 kilometers. If the route over the Buchberg is too long for you, you can also hike directly from Zollhaus station to the Ottilienhöhe at the "Unter Zinnen" signpost.
