Kahler Asten Trailmarathon 30 Km Short Distance

The short distance of over 30 km of the Kahler Asten Trail Marathon starts at the shooting hall and leads shortly uphill over the Herhagen into the valley of Nordenau. This is followed by a steep ascent through the ski area of Astenberg. After some descents, it goes up again crisply over beautiful trails to the Wesenberg. After a steep trail descent, which takes us to the lowest point of the route, there is again a long ascent almost to Astenberg. Now it's time to gather strength on a longer descent, interrupted by a beautiful trail, for the steep final climb, which is paved for the last 400 meters.
