The first kilometers of this long tour from Eslohe are very relaxed, as you follow the SauerlandRadring to Fretter, which is a former railway line. The first highlight doesn't take long to appear: the famous bat tunnel, where numerous rare bloodsuckers hibernate during the winter months. After Fretter, it's time to climb for a few kilometers, as about 150 meters of altitude must be overcome before the descent takes us to Oedingen. The next climb follows up to Bracht. Time to relax through Haverland to Schmallenberg. It's not until Winkhausen that the chain slowly has to climb to the left again. Through the enchanting Sorpetal, we head to Große Bildchen and then Altastenberg. The climb is long, but can be ridden very smoothly. After Altastenberg, the destination of the tour is almost reached: the Kahle Asten. Winterberg is ideal for a short break. From here, it goes downhill for a few kilometers to Siedlinghausen. It gets briefly steep from Elpe to Heinrichsdorf. From Ramsbeck, known for its visitor mine, the Nierbachtal leads us to Meschede in the Ruhr valley. Here, several flat kilometers await along the Hennesee. Through Remblinghausen and Herhagen, we reach Eslohe again on the cycle path.
