The beginning of the tour is characterized by a constant up and down. So there is not much time to prepare your legs for the tour. We pass through Altenkleusheim, Neuenkleusheim, and Fahlenscheid before reaching Oberveischede. Here, a longer climb past Apollmicke is followed by a rapid descent into the Olpe Valley. Some flat kilometers through Kirchhundem provide an opportunity to recover. After Oberhundem, one of the highlights of the tour awaits, the winding road over the Rothaargebirge to the Rhein-Weser-Turm. The long descent into the Edertal is just right after these meters of ascent. After a few kilometers in the valley, the next significant climb to Jagdhaus, followed by an equally beautiful descent to Schmallenberg, awaits with the second crossing of the Rothaar. Here, it is recommended to stop at one of the cafes to give your legs a new boost. Over the next kilometers, we follow the SauerlandRadring on a former railway line before the climbing resumes in Dorlar. We cross the Haverland in the southern Eslohe and return to the Olpe district in Fretter after a long descent. Here, we once again follow the SauerlandRadring. After a short climb, we are in the Lennetal near Barmenohl and follow it before turning right into the idyllic Repetal. This is followed by the tour almost without any meters of ascent through Repe and reaches the final highlight at Bremge, the relaxed finish along the Biggesee. Ideal for the legs to recover from the conquered meters of ascent.
