Sun Road

The Sun Trail leads you from the inn Jokebes through the village of Irmgarteichen, over the Josef Path and the Irmgarteichen Path to the shooting hall St. Hubertus. From Irmgarteichen, the path continues towards Hainchen, where it meets the Dilldappen Path. The comic stories of the Dilldappen invite you to linger here and show the everyday life of the small mythical creatures. Through Hainchen, you walk along the church and the water castle Hainchen. Via the Rothaarsteig access road, you reach the Rothaarsteig.
Past meadows and fields, the path leads towards the Haincher Höhe hiking car park. Once you reach Haincher Höhe, you descend back into the valley. Back in Irmgarteichen, the path leads below the Pfarrberg. Here you can enjoy unique views of the landscape. A highlight of the tour is the 13 m long, sun-yellow painted bench.
