Circular hiking trail Halver Heesfeld (A11) - The small Sunday round

The Heesfelder Mühle, a popular destination in the "Oben an der Volme" region in the Märkisches Sauerland, is the starting and ending point of this small (family) hike. At the starting point of the circular trail there is a parking lot and in the historic buildings of the Heesfelder Mühle there are nowadays a café and an organic store, among other things.
The small hike, marked with the trail sign A11, is especially suitable for young and old alike, who just want to take a short walk in the fresh air. The path on meadows and forest trails requires "normal" footwear. The short ascent / descent can be easily managed by all fresh air fans with a calm step.
At the halfway point of the small hiking trail, there is a small rest area with an information board on the topic of "charcoal burning".
After the small hike, a visit to the fruit variety garden of the Heesfelder Mühle is also worthwhile, not far from the mill building complex. Information boards here provide many interesting facts for hikers and a forest sofa invites you to a relaxing break.
