Forest Active Trail Heed

Starting at the hiking car park Heed in the south of Meinerzhagen, the well 5-kilometer long forest activity trail winds around the Heedberg. Along the way, many varied "forest discovery stations" await, such as a dendrophone (where you can make the different trees / woods sound) or the unique forest classroom.
A highlight is the connected viewpoint with a forest sofa to truly enjoy the peace and panoramic view.
At the starting point, there is an information board providing an overview of the forest activity trail and the individual stations. Here, the "Forest Activity Trail App" can also be downloaded free of charge. By receiving a signal via the app when reaching a station along the forest activity trail, you receive exciting and informative additional material about the adventure stations directly on your smartphone.
Additional hiking trails are located in the surrounding area, whether it's the Bergische Panorama Trail or the circular route on the Sauerland Heights Trail. The Genkel Dam is also within walking distance. A hiking overview board at the hiking car park also provides a corresponding overview of this.
An additional small highlight along the wayside: the Witch Oak with a rest area under a legendary audio play station also invites you to take a short break.
