Three Valleys Tour

The Three Valleys Tour leads through the Harz National Park. The starting point of the approximately 16.9 km long circular hiking trail is at the HarzWaldHaus in the spa park. The pure hiking time of the moderately difficult tour is around five hours. The recommended direction after reaching Philosophenbach is to the left in a clockwise direction towards Molkenhaus.
From the hiking meeting point at the House of Nature, the route goes over the B 4 bridge into the Kalte Tal with Fairy Tale Forest and High Ropes Course. At the High Ropes Course, there is a short ascent to the Hermann Löns bench at Philosophenbach. Along the stream, the route goes to the left. The symbol of the Three Valleys Tour guides you past the Sennhütte over the old toboggan run up to Molkenhaus. At Hasselbach, you should definitely try out the forest swing!
The descent via Molkenhauswiese follows the Braunschweiger Weg to the Ecker. Upon arrival there, the path leads to the right towards Eckerstausee. On the western side, the path continues along the reservoir until reaching the inflow. In the wild-romantic Eckertal, the narrow path leads further towards Eckerquerung. About 500 m before that, the Three Valleys Tour turns to the right. Following a truly rocky path, you ascend to the Ski Memorial.
Following the symbol, you enter the Radau Valley. First on a forest road, then on a narrower path with a resting bench, and then directly along the river, the descent continues to Taternbruch. The next destination is the Radau Waterfall with the forest restaurant. The path towards Bad Harzburg is reached via the stairs at the waterfall. It runs parallel to the B 4. After the bridge to the large parking lot, Philosophenbach is soon in sight. Follow it to the Hermann Löns bench. After descending past the High Ropes Course, you pass the Fairy Tale Forest and cross the B 4 bridge back to the spa park.
