Banfeauentour

From Bad Laasphe you can reach Laaspherhütte via a well-developed asphalted cycle path, then through beautiful floodplain landscapes via Herbertshausen to Banfe. In the village, it goes up briefly and the tour leads above the Banfetal to the junction to Hesselbach at the "Großer Bohnstein". After a break in Hesselbach, it goes steadily uphill for about 2 km, up to the Spreitzkopf. To reward yourself for the climb, a detour to the wind turbines at the mountain top offers a great panoramic view over the Wittgensteiner Land. Afterwards, the tour continues with beautiful views down into the Wabachtal and to the Forester's House Ditzrod, and then through the Gennernbachtal back to Bad Laasphe.
