The forest area on Fischbacherberg (371 m above sea level) is located 2 kilometers west of the city center. Part of the running route leads over wide paths of the historic circular hiking trail Achenbach, through beech forests and past the highest point, the "Buberg" (380 m above sea level). The presented running route of 8.3 kilometers crosses several times the Flowtrail, a mountain bike terrain track opened in June 2017, leading down to the Numbach.
