We start at Lake Loheidesee and hike through natural paths in the Baerler Busch to Waldsee. Then we go up to the Halde Rheinpreußen. At the top of the Halde stands "Das Geleucht," a well-known landmark shaped like a mining lamp, designed by the artist Otto Piene. From the Halde, you have a great panoramic view of the industrial backdrop in North Duisburg and the more rural Lower Rhine region. Finally, we make our way back to Lake Loheidesee through the forest.
