This tour starts at Lübbenau Castle and runs through the natural landscapes of the Niederlausitz Land Ridge, ending at the snow-white water castle Fürstlich Drehna - one of the hidden gems in the Spreewald.

Directions: Explore the castle gardens of the Spreewald - this is best done by bike. There are numerous impressive and magnificent castles in this region.
It starts in the Lübbenau Castle Park. The park, designed in the English landscape style, was created around 1820. Around 1850, the castle ponds, moats, paths, and bridges were built. An old tree population, green meadows, and fragrant plants make the park a natural idyll.
The next stop is Luckau: The city park there, designed according to plans by Inge and Heinz H. Eckebrecht, was newly created for the State Garden Show (LAGA) in 2000. Spacious meadows offer visitors a lot of greenery near the historic city center. A highlight for children is a creatively designed water playground in the city park.

The next stop on this stage is Fürstlich Drehna: The jewel of the place is the local castle park, which was redesigned as a landscape park in 1819 with the participation of Peter Joseph Lenné. The park has a variety of different trees. With its bridges, waterways, and curved profile, it is a masterpiece of romantic garden art from the 19th century.
