The northern half-route with a length of about 30 km is designated as the "Kult(o)ur" route. Along the route, the historically significant cultural assets and architectural monuments of the municipality can be admired.
But nature is not neglected on this round either. With a bit of luck, bird watching can be done from the observation hut Ahsewiesen just before Hachenei. The Ahsewiesen are an extensive wet meadow area where the Great Curlew, Lapwings, Marsh Harriers, Spoonbills, Teals, Garganeys, and Northern Shrikes breed. Migratory birds such as the Bean and Pale-bellied Brent Geese, Cranes, Greenshanks, and Redshanks can be observed here.
