Sorpesee and Wildewiese

After starting in Langscheid, this tour initially leads flat along the eastern shore of the Sorpe Lake for several kilometers. There is a lot to see along the way. It starts with the beautifully landscaped Langscheid lake promenade, followed by the Swedish and tree houses as well as the beach. In Amecke, the "Airlebnisweg" invites you to stop, a nature-oriented and interactive experience path around the forebay. The tour continues past the House Amecke, through a golf course and through the village of Allendorf with its historic center. From Hagen, it steadily goes uphill to Wildewiese, where the Schomberg Tower offers a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape. The altitude meters that were climbed can now be enjoyed on the downhill ride. From Hagen to Amecke, the return route is identical to the outbound route. Then turn onto the traffic-free west bank edge path of the Sorpe Lake and, after a few flat kilometers, reach the starting point of the tour again at the dam of the reservoir.
