Drolshagen Round

From the starting point of the GPX track in Drolshagen (parking lot at the mill pond), the tour leads via Wenkhausen to the Eichener Mühle. The mill is considered one of the earliest commercial enterprises in the Olpe district and was first mentioned in 1512 as a ban mill of the former Cistercian monastery in Drolshagen.

Passing through small villages, you reach the Schlüsen educational trail at Schützenbruch. In Drolshagen, "Schlüsen" refers to the old sunken lanes that wind their way through the forests here. Below the village of Junkernhöh, an educational trail has been created to convey a sense of ancient times. You'll learn how life unfolded on and along the old paths, and what happened when the flow of traffic changed due to new roads.

The tour continues to the Listerrandweg. The idyllic Listersee offers the opportunity to relax and unwind or to refresh yourself in the cool water. Afterwards, you can continue the journey in a relaxed manner until the loop closes again in Drolshagen.
