Zellerfelder Tal Loipe/ Wettkampfloipe illuminated

Short description

Starting from the starting point at the Ringerhalde / or in the Zellerfelder Tal, well-trained cross-country skiers can also train on the illuminated track in the evening hours.

Description

The 5.5 km long circular course can be divided into different sections. Round variations are possible, e.g. 800 m; 1.5 km; 1.7 km or 2.3 km. This track is a very challenging one. It requires a lot of stamina as the course runs uphill or straight over many sections. Furthermore, good driving skills are advantageous. The special feature of this track is that it is a skating track.

DSV Premium Trail
This track is a certified DSV Premium Trail.
Together with municipalities in the western Harz region and the districts of Goslar and Osterode am Harz, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have been working in recent years for a qualitative development of the trail network in the Harz region. The trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centers according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system, and equipped with information boards.
