The trail climbs steadily along the Sagwasser mountain stream to the Sagwasserklause and on to the Tummelplatz, a former gathering place for shepherds and grazing cattle. A short detour to the hidden Großalmeyerschloss boulder, which forms the highest point of the Hohlstein, is rewarded with magnificent views of the Lusen and the national park peaks. The route leads through wild forests back to the starting point.
