The trail starts at the Fernblick parking lot and runs with the Spessartbogen downhill to the old Rodfeldeiche and further into the valley. From the edge of the forest, there are many different and new views and vistas of the landscape. Along the outskirts of Neuses, the trail leads gently uphill again and once more offers great views of the Vorspessart landscape. After crossing the access road to Fernblick, the Spessart trail runs through the forest and rejoins the Spessartbogen long-distance hiking trail. Together, the arch and trail lead back to the Fernblick parking lot.
