"Bieberer Galgenberg" Spessartspur

The starting point of the hiking route is at the Alte Post in Biebergemünd-Bieber. The path leads hikers through the village to the fields and forest in the direction of the Galgenberg. But before entering the forest, a view of the Biebertal valley is absolutely worthwhile. The hiker follows the route and comes out via the forest path on the Galgenberg at the St. Mauritius Chapel, from where impressive views of Lochborn and the Schwarzbach valley invite the hiker to linger. The hiking trail leads back to Bieber across varied and scenic open spaces and fields. Past the Laurentius church, the hiker returns to the starting point, the center of Biebergemünd-Bieber.
