The Ostsee-Saaletalsperren long-distance hiking trail is a long-distance hiking trail within Germany, marked by a horizontal blue bar on a white background. It runs through Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg, Saxony and Thuringia and is approx. 1500 km long. It begins at Cape Arkona on Rügen and ends in Ziegenrück at the Saale dams in the Thuringian Slate Mountains. The main Baltic Sea-Saaletalsperren hiking trail was established by the Kulturbund der DDR in the 1960s.
